Christianity is not new or modern. We confess the same truths that the global church has held for more than two thousand years.

Our Story
How Flourish Hill began.
Flourish Hill began as a church-planting effort born out of Gospel City Church, with a shared conviction that Kuala Lumpur needed more churches proclaiming a gospel that is both true and beautiful.

A shared conviction
A group from Gospel City Church began praying for a church to carry the gospel deeper into Kuala Lumpur.

Sent out
With the blessing and support of Gospel City Church, that small gathering was commissioned as Flourish Hill.

Early days
A handful of people, meeting in homes and a cafe, slowly growing in love and learning to be a new community.

Gathering today
We meet every Sunday at Plaza Damansara, learning together what it means to connect everyday life to God.

Flourish Hill is led by pastors committed to shepherding Christ's church with care and conviction.
Yi Khen
Pastor (Vocational)
Yi Khen serves vocationally as a pastor at Flourish Hill. He hails from Sarawak and has a background in finance.
He is passionate about helping people discover the joy of the gospel amidst everyday life in Kuala Lumpur and is currently pursuing an MDiv. at the Malaysian Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS). Among other things, Yi Khen loves a game of badminton and brewing coffee that tastes like tea. He is married to his lovely wife, Emily.
Massimo
Pastor (Bi-Vocational)
Massimo serves bi-vocationally as a pastor at Flourish Hill, alongside leading Gospel City Network (GCN) and Greenhouse Publishing.
Born in Malacca, he is half Italian and half Malaysian but speaks German and English. He graduated from the Malaysian Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS). He loves thinking about how the gospel shapes work, family and the city, and enjoys catalysing new churches and ministries in Malaysia. Massimo is married to Gloria, and together they have a heart for walking alongside couples through premarital counselling. They have a daughter, Miabella, who loves to dance, sing and be silly.
Kyle
Pastor (Bi-Vocational)
Kyle serves bi-vocationally as a pastor at Flourish Hill while also lecturing at several seminaries across Asia.
He was mainly raised in the United States but has also spent extensive time in the Middle East, China, and now over 15 years in Malaysia. Kyle holds a PhD in Biblical Studies, focuses on research in the Old Testament, and is passionate about helping people understand and interpret the Bible well. He is married to Jamie and God has blessed them with four children.

Paid parking is available inside Plaza Damansara Block A while free weekend parking is available around the plaza.

Come exactly as you are — there's no dress code. Most people dress casually.
Is there anything for my kids?
Yes — Flourish Sprouts runs during the service, so your children are cared for while you attend.
